Vehicle Check System
WRMS has a Vehicle Check system that enables operators to complete checks on the PDA, which will update the WRMS database and automatically create tasks where required.
How it works...
- Barcodes are fixed to the vehicle on areas that require checking i.e. Front, Rear and specific areas such as lifting gear etc.
- Once an operator has logged onto the handheld he will be asked to scan the relevant barcode and confirm the condition, photographs can be taken if necessary
- The data collected can then be updated to main database via GPRS
- Any defaults or maintenance can be scheduled automatically
- Reports are available via the WRMS database
