The Vehicle Touch Screen Data terminal is an adaptable, robust, large touch screen terminal for mobile personnel. The terminal is ideal for bespoke or third party applications such as; process management, job despatch, navigation and signature capture. The terminal has been designed for use in or out of a vehicle. The Blueport is delivered with; integrated GSM/GPRS modem, Bluetooth, vehicle cradle and installation kit.

The integrated image engine allows both barcode reading and image capture.

Navigation

When connected to a satellite receiver the terminal can be configured to provide driver navigation. The connection would take the form of the unit being ‘docked’ in a vehicle mounted cradle.

Hands Free voice communications

Our WRMS system in conjunction with robust PDA devices records collections including the capture of signatures and also photos for evidence. This data is automatically transmitted to the main server that updates the WRMS database and produces the Duty of Care: Waste transfer note electronically (WTN). Once updated the system can send the WTN by e-mail to all relevant parties.

Summary WTN's can be uploaded to the PDA to accompany the waste whilst in transit. Alternatively a Bluetooth printer can print a hard copy.
