Bin Monitoring

How it works...

The Bin Monitoring solution consists of wireless sensors that communicate with a host server, and a web interface that provides a full service view of all monitored assets and full suite of management reports, including alert SMS messages and email, etc.

The solution facilitates massive improvements in collection efficiencies, through ensuring that only full or nearly full bins are collected.

A sensor, which is placed in each bin, ‘measures’ the fill level of the bin and sends this information (and more) wirelessly over the GSM (mobile phone) network.

This information is then received by a host server and processed by our WRMS system that generate collection rounds and tasks.

The solution also provides a full MIS (Management Information System), Vehicle tracking, Bin Monitoring, Route Planning and Regulatory reporting capabilities.

When integrated with the GPS Tracker solution, vehicle tracking and route optimisation capabilities may be added.

As all the information is provided over the internet, there is no need for the operator to invest in Information Technology or have specialist skills to adopt the service.
